Empowering Compassionate End-of-Life Care
As a Canadian Registered Charity, our mission is clear: to ensure that anyone facing death and their loved ones receive the compassionate, inclusive, and culturally sensitive end-of-life care and support they deserve.
Together with our dedicated team of HHA-trained Death Doulas, support staff, and volunteers, we work to achieve this goal by increasing access to holistic care, personalized support, and practical resources through innovative programs, educational trainings, direct support, and community partnerships.
We're committed to raising awareness of the need for comprehensive end-of-life care and promoting a culture of empathy, understanding, and open dialogue about dying and death.

Our Vision for the Future of End-of-Life Care
We envision a world where every person facing death has access to compassionate and personalized support, regardless of where they call home. Our goal is to transform the experience of purely medicalized end-of-life care by making emotional, physical, and spiritual support accessible to everyone.
Why the Moonlit Memory Walk Matters
The Moonlit Memory Walk is an important fundraiser for HHA. Your participation enables us to extend the reach of holistic death care and grief support, and continue to provide comprehensive death education programming in communities across Canada. By joining this event, you're not just honoring the memories of your loved ones; you're also championing a movement and fostering a legacy of enhanced end-of-life care for anyone, anywhere.
Your involvement in the Moonlit Memory Walk helps us expand our programs, train more compassionate care practitioners, partner with more community agencies and reach more individuals in need. Together, we can ensure that everyone facing death or grappling with grief receives the care, support, and dignity they deserve.
Join us in illuminating the way forward. Let's walk together towards a brighter and more compassionate tomorrow.
